Events, Updates and Reminders 


Tax Preparation Offered: CCU is partnering with the Jackson County Aging and Disability Resource Center and Jackson Electric Cooperative, which will host the tax preparers. Jackson Electric is located at N6868 County Road F, Black River Falls.
 
Appointments will be scheduled by calling CCU at (715) 284-5333. Appointments are available every Monday, February 3rd through Monday, April 6th. AARP’s Tax Aide program is designed for low- to moderate-income
taxpayers, especially those 60 or older. There are some returns preparers cannot handle. Please see CCU's most recent newsletter in the section above for details.
 
Please bring the following to your appointment:
  • Identification
  • Copy of last year’s income tax
    return(s)
  • Property Tax bills
  • W-2 forms from each employer
  • Unemployment compensation
    statements
  • SSA-1099 form if you were paid
    Social Security benefits
  • Capital Gains information
  • All 1099 forms (1099-INT, 1099-
    DIV, 1099-B, etc.) showing interest
    and/or dividends and documentation
    showing original purchase price of
    sold assets
  • 1099-misc. showing any miscellaneous
    income
  • 1099-R form if you received a pension
    or annuity
  • Dependent care provider information
    (name, employer ID, Social Security
    number)
  • All receipts or cancelled checks if
    itemizing deductions
  • Social Security cards or other official
    documentation for yourself and all
    dependents
  • Checkbook, if you wish to direct
    deposit refunds or direct debit
    payments.
