Co-op Credit Union

Community Commitment

We Are Committed to Our Communities.

As a cooperative, we live out the cooperative principles, including "Concern for Community." We serve in the form of volunteerism, partnerships, donations and other ways that help build and improve our communities. It's about a simple passion for the overarching credit union philosophy of "People Helping People."

Volunteerism
In 2022, CCU employees contributed more than 2,150 hours of work and personal time to volunteering for community causes. The credit union encourages and has a regular rotation of employees who assist with Meals on Wheels deliveries and at the Neighborhood Food Pantry.

In addition, employees donated approximately $2,754 of their personal funds through payroll deductions to support various community groups and organizations throughout our membership area.

Donations
We make contributions to groups and organizations throughout our membership area. Our credit union's Young Professionals Group also holds regular lunch-ins in which the money raised is donated back to various causes.
To request a donation, complete our Donation Request Form and email to ccu@coopcu.com, mail to CCU or stop in at one of our lobby locations.

Community Events and Partnerships
Our credit union both coordinates and supports events that benefit our community members and groups.

For more than 25 years, CCU has sponsored and supported Jackson County Interfaith Volunteer Caregivers' annual golf event, which raises money for the organization. We also support the local dairy industry with treats through the month of June.
