Investing in Your Future.
We believe in investing in the next generation by providing financial assistance to graduating high school seniors attending college or technical school in the upcoming school year. As a cooperative, we believe in the power of not only supporting our communities and the people who live in them but also the value and importance of education. It is our honor to assist students as they plan their futures and work to achieve their goals. Ten recipients will be selected and each awarded a $1,000 scholarship.

How do I apply for Co-op Credit Union's Scholarship?
Visit the Scholarship Program webpage on CCU's website between January 1st until March 15th to fill out and submit your application for CCU's scholarship.
Am I eligible to apply for the scholarship?
- Students must be a graduating high school senior.
- The student or their parent(s)/guardian must be an active member at Co-op Credit Union for at least six months and be in good standing.
- Students must have a cumulative GPA of at least 2.5 of higher on a 4-point scale.
- Application must be submitted by March 15th at 11:59 p.m.
When will I find out if I am receiving a scholarship?
We will notify the awardees school so the scholarship can be presented at their scholarship award ceremony. After all award ceremonies have taken place Co-op Credit Union will announce all awardees publicly.
If I am awarded the scholarship, what are the next steps to claim my scholarship funds?
Awardees are required to submit the following information regarding their first and second semester of school to receive their entire scholarship amount.
To confirm your enrollment, email ccu@coopcu.com either
- Your Fall and Spring semester bill or
- Your Fall and Spring class schedule from your educational institution
Upon receipt of those items, CCU will issue and mail a check to your school of choice. CCU will provide $500 per semester or $333.33 per trimester enrolled up to $1,000. Scholarship funds must be claimed within one-year of award notification.
If I am awarded the scholarship, how do I receive my check?
Co-op Credit Union requires information about the awardee's first and second semester of college as proof of enrollment. Once this information has been received Co-op Credit Union will mail the scholarship funds to the awardee's school of choice.
Can employees or immediate family members of employees apply for the scholarship?
Yes. Employees or immediate family members of employees or board members are eligible for Co-op Credit Union's scholarship.
