Was La Crosse Burlington Credit Union in financial trouble?

La Crosse Burlington Credit Union is not in financial trouble. However, it was determined that it was in the best interest of La Crosse Burlington Credit Union to seek a merger partner due to constant internal and external challenges. It is increasingly difficult to compete in today’s financial markets while continuing to provide the quality products and services that all members deserve. Additionally, the current labor market makes it difficult to find qualified employees and provide a fair wage and benefit package.

Was/Is Co-op Credit Union in financial trouble?

No. While regulator ratings of financial institutions are to be kept confidential – we can say that Co-op Credit Union is considered a financially strong institution. If you would like, you can view our 2023 Annual Report on our website at coopcu.com.
